How to Share Custom Dashboards in Wink V2

You can share dashboards with users who do not have a Wink account, and you can also create custom views of your dashboard for different team members.

Open Your Performance Dashboard

Open the dashboard that you want to share.

Apply the necessary filters to personalize the view (e.g., filter by employee or team).

Set Filters for Team Members

Click on the “+” icon next to the dashboard filters.

Set filters (e.g., Employee – Completed by) and select a specific team member.

This will refresh all widgets to display data according to the selected filter.

Save the Filter

Click on the filter icon, then select "Add as a new saved filter."

A new window will appear where you can name the filter. Click "Save."

Generate the Shareable Link

Click on the Share URL button. A new window will appear.

Click "Share Link."

Ensure the saved filter name is checked, then click "Create Link."

Copy the generated link using the copy icon. A popup will confirm it’s been copied.

  • View-Only Users: Can view the dashboard and interact with the widgets based on the selected filters, but cannot modify the dashboard or its settings.
  • Editors: Can modify the dashboard’s filters or widgets (if permitted by the permissions set for the dashboard).
  • Admins: Have full control over the dashboard, including creating custom views, editing widgets, and modifying permissions for other users.

Updating the Dashboard View

  • You can update the filters without needing to create a new share URL.
  • Simply ensure the current dashboard view is the one you wish to share.
  • To refresh the view, click the Share Link button and select the saved filter to update the view.
